Montevideo is one name given to the "Indian Paintings", or Pinturas Repuestres.  There are now signs marking the turnoff, which is the same one as for Mission San Borja.

Four wheel drive is not necessarily needed, although there can be some areas of soft sand and protruding rocks, so ground clearance is important.
