The Boojum,
or "Cirio", is a unique icon of the Baja California Desert.
Growing in only certain regions, it is instantly recognizable.
Indeed, a complete photo essay could be done on just this plant
alone. From its twisted, and arched contortions, to its dormant
summertime form which blooms an unbelivable green in after the rains...the
Boojum is a joy to behold.
