Cross-Wind Runway

View of Strip From Southern End

Above are three views of the Bahia de los Angeles airstrip.  It was recently re-surfaced. There is no tower, and the runway is not lit.

Details from long-time flyers Ivan and Rita Hoffman: "The main strip is approx. 5000'; cross wind runway is approx. 3200'  Conditions can change rapidly.  Watch those West Winds.  You can use the boats in the harbor and the wind patterns on the water near the islands for additional references for wind direction."

A fly-over the town will alert folks to your arrival and a taxi will be dispatched to pick you up.  The airstrip is approx. 1.5 miles just North of town.
